The date varies according to custom. Some say it was on the 14th of March, others the 11th of March, yet others tell us that it was on the 18th of March, in the year 1314 of the Common Era. The Freemasons and the Order of DeMolay celebrate the festivities on the 11th of March.
And -- just what is it we are referring to? The Martyrdom of Jacobus Burgundus Molensis, J. B. DeMolay, for short. JBM in "code" -- the three Words of the Craft Lodge.
Our take on the whole story is that by the time the Temple was seized by the Authorities, it had long since carried out its real objectives, -- that is -- the reason it had been formed in the early years of the 12th Century e.v.
This may require a certain amount of qualification. We shall enumerate our reasons as follows:
1. In the "Dark Ages", the Roman Catholic Church assumed control of the West. Through a series of tricks, it convinced the Roman Empire that it was worth utilizing as the State Religion, and could enforce the behaviours of entire populations a whole lot easier than all the legions of Roman soldiers, by getting the marks where they live, and how they live, and think and believe and so forth.
2. In the early years of the Church, it was determined that the old ways were no longer necessary. That is, the pantheistic side of polytheism, in which Divinity resides in every speck of created matter. Whether an animalcule or a human being, the creation was inside the box, God was outside the box. By taking away the human side of Jesus, and making him not only wholly divine, but equating him with the first cause Itself, they removed the really noble portions of the Christian message from the people. By taking divinity out of humanity, and humanity out of divinity, they created a wall of separation that has yet to be torn down.
Through the construct known as "Original Sin" many crimes were perpetrated on the populace, including wars, murders, intrigues, assassinations, theft of real estate, libraries, other property. No regime of despots we have known about in the 20th Century of the Common Era even comes close to the amount of blood that is on the hands of the so-called Holy See, and its some-time rivals, in the East, and its some-time rival Protestant sects. History can bear proof of this.
Here is an example of what we are talking about. It comes from the writings of Dom. Luigi Sturzo, one-time supporter of Benito Mussolini, and one of the founders of the Christian Democratic Party in Europe after World War II. He wrote a book, entitled Church and State, which enumerates the Church's justifications for keeping humankind in a miserable, repressed state for so many centuries: [Speaking about the Church's reasons for exterminating the Hohenstaufen family]
"It is the period when the juridical formulation of papal power reaches its widest extension. Innocent III, as we have seen, had defined the distinction between theratio feudi and the ratio peccati, between papal intervention in politics casualiter, and by plena potestate. Gregory IX holds to the formula of his great predecessor, but he insists also on the Donation of Constantine and the transfer, effectuated by the Pope, of the universal empire, from the Greeks, to the Romans. It is, however, Innocent IV, who gave the Papal power its widest interpretation, juridical and theological, such as was never known before or after.
He is a jurist and does not forget it. In his Apparatus ad Quinque libros Decretalium he recalls that the Emperor's power is derived from the Roman people, through the Lex regalis, which Justinian reiterated in his Codex. But this historico-legal origin of the transmission of power from people to emperor does not contradict his own theologico- metaphysical theory, which is founded on the idea, of which there are traces in the Fathers, that coercive power, like private property, is a result of Original Sin, and therefore in itself, in the material sense, something illegitimate and an abuse, which can never be free from hatred, violence and misdeeds. Gregory VII and his successors had frequently insisted on this concomitance of power with injustice, murders, wars and tyrannies, which accompany its historical origin and its practical development, in order to proclaim the power of the Church, not only as moral teacher but as having the right and duty of intervening to correct kings and princes and to deprive them of power should they prove incorrigible and harmful to the community. In the XI and still more in the XIII century power and the Empire could not be conceived as extraneous to the Church (given the evolution of Christian thought from the IX century onwards, for which kingdoms and Christian empires were within the Church and part of the Church). It would have been foreign to the spirit of the age to carry such a theory fo the pessimistic conclusion, which might have led to an irremediable dualism (of which there are hints in the Fathers), that the civil power was caused by Original Sin and closely connected with crime in its formation and exercise. The dualism of power from Gregory VII onwards resolves itself into the power of St. Peter.
Hence the distinction, which Innocent IV clearly establishes, between the original power deriving from sin, illegitimate, an abuse rather than authority, and legitimate power deriving from God, to be wielded in the Christian world for the common good and under religious control. This power is to be found naturaliter et potentialiter in the Church, not as a gift from the emperors, not through any Constantinian succession, but of itself, from the day the Church was founded. The popes represent this true power, 'as legates of God on earth',.... Thus the letter to Frederick II in 1245, in which Innocent IV symbolically expounds the Donation of Constantine.
In the paganism from which Constantine came there was but one earthly power, which, unlegitimised and unennobled by Christianity, was permitted by God only as a consequence of sin. When Constantine became a Christian, he resigned his earthly power to the Church, to receive it back from the Church renewed by Christianity, that is, as legitimate power, recognised as such because recognised as coming from God. In Constantine in his quality of Emperor all human power is symbolised; through the Church the Empire became Christendom. The secular power might be acquired through a variety of human forms, succession, election, nomination, popular choice, but its legitimation came through the intervention and consecration of the Church. Power proceeds from no one but God, but it is through the Church that its divine origin is proved, rendering it theologically lawful. That is why the Pope, as legate of God, has a general authority over the earth. " -- Church and State, Vol. I, pp. 108 - 110.
In other words, the Church set itself up as a massive protection racket, conning even the Empire into accepting it.
This is the Construct, as the Matrix is a Construct, (a film which all people interested in Reality Engineering must see), and it controls all aspects of life. Business and commerce are evil unless endorsed by the Church. Love is certainly evil unless endorsed by the Church and making Love is a heinous offence, since people who enjoy doing it must pay, by producing offspring, baptised by the priest who sprinkles the child with the spoon dipped in water... Future business, you dig.
This whole Construct created the forged Donation of Constantine, exterminated the Merovingians, led to the Schism that separated the Church into two districts, East and West, and, led to the Investiture Contest, which was primarily between the Popes and the Hohenstaufen Monarchs. And the Crusades were always there, beneath the surface, as it were, behind the scenes.
>We all know today that the Donation of Constantine was a complete and total forgery, like the Hitler Diaries, and undoubtedly numerous bogus Masonic charters used to assert supreme authority, that happen to show up at just the right time.>
There being no such thing as legitimate authority whatsoever on this planet, then as well as now, what was il papa to do, things could get out of hand, upstart rulers might disregard the dogmas of the Church and the people might gain an education, learn about practicing cleanliness(even cleanliness was a heinous offence), and find life not to be so miserable as previously enforced. So, the dogma of original sin was brought in -- power is the result of the curse of original sin, the logic went -- therefore such power had to be endorsed by the Church who claimed the sole authority to absolve people of original sin, even if such original sin never existed to begin with.
Now, that's a real laugh. "Now a curse upon Because and his kin!" -- AL.II.28. In today's parlance, that's like a mom and pop shop in a big city. The enforcer sends in hoodlums to break up the store, destroying the merchandise and informs them that if they don't wanna this to happen again they gotta pay and they gotta pay regular. In short, a protection racket. That is really what the concept of Confession really is, too, by the way.
The Hohenstaufen monarchs, from Henry IV on were openly opposed to Rome. They wanted to rule as they saw fit. They came from a land of great learning, and wanted to extend that learning throughout the Empire and the trade and commerce that would come with it. Tired of Rome keeping the secrets to themselves, they set out on a course that would eventually brand the entire bloodline as heretics.
3. At the same time, new ideas were coming into vogue -- the Kalonymide family of Jewish savants were busy formulating what would become known as the Qabalah. Islamic science was blooming, the long starved West was succumbing to the temptation for newer and brighter things (and ideas).
4. The story has it that some monks in Calabria moved to Orval circa 1070 e.v., and by the time they left a few years later, the First Crusade was in the making and this led to the Order of the Temple and probably to the Order of SION.
5. At any rate, one of the objectives of such a venture, would have been to install Kings of the Merovingian bloodline, that had in fact survived the extermination, on the Throne in Jerusalem.
6. Another objective would have been to remove any treasure to be found in the Holy Land to a safe place, a "hiding place", for it is clear some degree of secret knowledge, some "terrible" secret was involved -- be it perpetuation of a semi-divine bloodline, actual historical secrets unavailable to the majority of humankind, a relic(or relics). Or all of the above.
7. Another objective would have been to form a real, diplomatic alliance with the Caliphs -- because it would have been to the advantage of both opposing parties to do so.
8. And, with the true knowledge pertaining to the real history of Jesus (Yeshu) and the religion created in his name, but hardly after his Spirit, the elimination of the fountain of error itself, the Church.
9. By 1111 - 1119 e.v., the Knights Templars were formally established. At this time, the Knights received their first anointing under the hands of the Gnostic priest. They were consecrated, invested with the Papal authority of the Johannite Gnostic Tradition. This took place in Bosra, Syria. This is where the Pure Brethren of Bosra existed. This is not Basra, in Mesopotamia.
Thus was born the succession of Johns (and Jeannes) which was carried forward by the Priory of Sion (and the Gold RC) after 1188 e.v.
The material on which group it really would have been, which consecrated the Knights in Syria, we have written of in our work, The Brethren of the Gift: Qadosh the Johannite Tradition, Book III, Ormus and the Grail Chalice.
10. By the 1150s e.v., the Grail had been discovered and hidden away. This is the subject of our essay entitled "Is THIS the Holy Mountain?" We are speaking of the Grail, physically, spiritually, mentally, metaphorically, actually. In all aspects of meaning, it was discovered and concealed. -- for future generations.
11. The battle which cost the Temple, cost the Latin Kingdom of Jerusalem its position, was waged in 1187 e.v., at the Horns of Hattin.
12. After this, the Treasure, the Secrets, the Family Lineage, and so on, would be held within the Order of SION (some would have it that it is the Imperial Dragon Court) ... and the commercial or military enterprise would continue as the Order of the Temple.
13. Two of the four stated objectives being met, at least, in some form, the achievement of a Diplomatic alliance with the Caliphs came close, but was sabotaged by the Church, because that was against its need, to always have enemies, to mow down relentlessly.
Not only that, it was Saint Frederick II of Hohenstaufen who saught the alliance. He was excommunicated for not going on a Crusade, then for going on the Crusade, and for attempting the alliance with the Fatimite Caliphate. Like Bob Dole, "he just couldn't win."
14. By this time (i.e., the 1250s e.v.), the Temple had grown unwieldy, the Latin Kings, like their Merovingian ancestors before them, weak, cruel, feeble, and petty.
15. Whatever the Temple originally did, and whatever it had discovered, learned, committed to safe-keeping, was lost knowledge by the time of J. B. de Molay.
The Order (it was claimed), outstepped its bounds. It had a huge shipping industry, a huge banking system, real estate and other property that rivalled the Church.
And then it was gone. Vanished. Overnight.
16. The Destruction of the Temple. (Appropriate section heading number). On Friday 13 October 1307 e.v., the story has it that the call went forth and all Templars were rounded up, arrested, questioned, tortured.
Anybody who knows the story, knows the account of how they were tortured into confessions of acts they never committed. The Church had an excellent knack for putting things into the mouths of the people they accused of heresy. And they call Satan the accuser?
Those who held to their innocence were put to death. However, in 1310 e.v., the Order was officially disbanded, the properties handed down to the Knights of Malta, (which owns FEMA these days), and in 1314 e.v., on the 11th/14th/18th of March, one of History's days of infamy took place yet again.
The two in charge of the Temple, JBM and Geoffroi de Charney were burned at the stake on the Isle de France, and there the curse against Pope and King was uttered. It came true.
17. Following that we come to perpetuation legends, through the Magicians, the Alchemists, the Rosicrucians, the Stone Masons, the Free Masons, etc., that is for another work, not here.
BUT... it is for this loss, of something so precious, so great, that all the spiritual heirs of JBM and the Temple honor his sacrifice at the hands of the purveyors of Tyranny and Superstition.

For our part, we most certainly side with the Traditions out of which all groups of which the Temple was a part, came from. We have ancestors in these Crafts.
And we hail our far thinking founding fathers (and mothers, by the way), of the American Republic, who were without doubt schooled in some of these secret schools. We hail all of our Saints.
With that in mind, we offer the following official ritual for the refreshment and enjoyment of the Worthy, all who can be numbered along with ourselves as the spiritual heirs, keepers of the chain, as it were, of the Temple and the possessors of the True Gnosis, yea, the possessors of the True Gnosis. SO MOTE IT BE.
LATE NOTE: It seems that the "Holy See" is prepared to apologize for its atrocities, committed over the past 1,700 years or so, including and specifically mentioning those committed during the Crusades and the Inquisition. This is to take place on Sunday 12 March 2000 e.v. Now, how's that for timing?
